Improved Grip...But

Review by Benjamin S. Mitchell, 2010-02-07

This grip set has really helped my wife's control of the Mossberg. The only downside is the loss of the swivel stud for the strap. Nice product otherwise.

I purchased the Hogue pistol grip & forend for my 500, and it works well and looks great, but you may need to purchase a new forend extension nut for your gun. The pistol grip installed painlessly. The forend required a forend wrench which I had to purchase separately. I also had to shave a bit of rubber from over mold, to prevent it from rubbing on a heat shield that I also added to the gun.
