I have to agree with others that this is clearly an advertisement for Lee products. Had they left out the advertising I would have given it 4 stars (5 stars if spending less time advertising meant more time explaining in better detail).
You're sure to get sick of reading the word "Lee" over and over, but if you get this book just for the reloading data, it's a good book.

The how to chapters are pretty good. the plugs for Lee products, while expected, tend to grow old after a while. The loading data is pretty good as a whole. Comparison with loads in the Lyman guide looks as though the Lee loads run a bit hotter. Not a bad thing, but due caution applies. Note: I currently load only pistol at this time so none of this commentary applies to the rifle data. Overall this is worth adding to any library. The value is worth noting as well, it about half the price of other comparable manuals.

If you are first time to learn to reload the ammo. Read the Manual first, and then following the Manual to own your Reload Equipment / Bullets / Powder / Case......

The Lee Reloading Manual is excellent! The information is great, and Mr. Lee has put hard work into this book to help us all as we load our own Ammo. He writes in language that we all can understand. I would recomend this reloading resource to anyone.

This is a tricky review for me to write because, on the one hand, this reloading manual is a great deal for the money. It's cheapest out of all the reloading manuals (by a good deal), and yet it doesn't skimp on any of the load data to reach that price point. It's also a good quality hardcover that feels like a college textbook. So in that sense you're getting a good deal. Even if you already have a reloading manual, it never helps to have another one to compare load data on, as sometimes a manufacturer will print load data that is simply wrong.
On the other hand, the writing style in this manual is not professional in the least. Sentence fragments abound. The choice of whether to use a comma in a given place or not seems to have been made with the flip of a coin. It can be hard just to read the book sometimes because it lacks so much for a single competent editor.
In addition to the punctuation issues, many parts of this reloading manual read like pure advertising copy for Lee products. You oftentimes feel like you're not getting the truth about any particular facet of reloading, but rather, what the people at Lee want you to think in order to push you towards their products. It's a real shame.
Give this book a competent editor and a less biased writer and it could've easily been a five star product and a great value. Instead, it is significantly biased and annoyingly unpolished.
